Dear Ones,
I am learning to shoot video in preparation for my Master Class-style course on connection!
This was taken during one of my private lessons with a photographer / videographer / magician fellow, crash courses in lighting and shooting and editing. I’m learning so much so fast, and trying to retain it, and I’m a kinesthetic learner, so I figured I’d make you something while I’m at it!
I set up the (3-point) lighting myself that day, and I have to say, I’m pretty pleased! The more cinematic it appears, the happier I am. (Naturally.)
I’m currently in the process of investing in my own video kit. One light, camera, and lens down: two lights, one lens, and a mic stand to go! (My audio for the course will be much better than this – we weren’t using my mic that day, because the stand my instructor had couldn’t support the weight of my AT4040!)
On we go, and in horizontality, I learn.
