My former housemate Tiger and I did an elaborate ritual for letting go of old lovers.

I decided to clear every lover I’d ever had.
That’s right. Every lover I’ve ever had.
(First I had to remember them all! My Google calendar came in handy. Thank you, Past Me, for your meticulous record-keeping.)

Deliberately clearing the energy of Every Lover I’d Ever Had took… a solid two weeks. It felt like a gift to myself, and, by extension, my partner at the time. A gift at the outset of our new relationship.
I felt so CLEAN afterwards.
I didn’t do it by the book. I used the structure as architecture. I was the interior designer.
