Dear Ones, I am thinking of you all, in your apartments and houses, hunkered down, solo and paired and in communities… I’ve also been thinking a lot about: * the “social distancing” recommended right now * the fact that events across the world have had to cancel * and our ever-present, unabated need for connection.

I am thinking of you all, in your apartments and houses, hunkered down, solo and paired and in communities…
Extrovert, introvert, ambivert: we all need connection. We especially need connection as “social distancing” becomes part of our lives for an indeterminate amount of time.
I’ve also been thinking a lot about:
* what six feet of distance between human bodies actually feels like
* the fact that Broadway, the NBA, and Events Across the World are cancelled
* and our ever-present, unabated need for intimacy
On Wednesday night at 10pm EST, I’ll lead some games we play in my Art of Trust workshop on GetVokl (Zoom meets chat room).
Technology is magic. Let’s use this magic to feel less isolated right now.

P.P.S. A few notes about the live video format:
- Get Vokl is a new platform for podcasters. It’s like Zoom meets a chat room.
- You don’t have to verbally participate if you don’t wish to.
- There are 4 video spots and a chat stream. Three spots will be available for people to ‘grab a seat’ and get on video. You’ll rotate in and out so that many folx can get a chance to participate. We’ll call it “camming up” and “camming down.”
- You can stay silent and witness, or:
- Participate by typing comments in the chat, or:
- Participate on video by grabbing a spot when it opens.
- *** Also: There is a brief sign-in process. Best do that beforehand so you can join the call straightaway. (But if you miss the beginning, you can still hop on at any time!)
